Details for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) November 2012 have been announced. It is “the” exam for candidates you wish to join government schools as a teacher. The competition is tough. In the first ever CTET, in June 2011, about 8 Lakh people applied for the exam and only 1 lakh could qualify.

CTET Application Fee:
General/OBC: Rs. 500 (per paper) or Rs. 800 (both papers)
Others: Rs. 250 (per paper) or Rs. 400 (both papers)
The application fee needs to be paid in the form of a DD in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your Registration Number, Name, Address, and Mobile/Telephone Number on the back of the Demand Draft.
