The selection for candidates for PSPCL recruitment 2012 will be done based on their performance in a written test. This article will give you more details on what to expect from the exam.

PSPCL Test Pattern:

Number of Questions: 100

Type of Questions: Multi choice (objective type) with one correct answer

PSPCL Test - Part I

Part 1 will have 60 questions on the subject of the post applied for e.g if you applied to accountant's post the test will be based on accounts and for IT manager it will be based on computers and IT.

PSPCL Test - Part II

Part 2 will have 40 questions based on:

  1. General awareness
  2. Reasoning
  3. English language

Note:

For the posts of UDC/General all 100 questions will be based on General awareness, Reasoning, Numerical and English

Qualifying Criteria:

The candidate has to qualify in each part.

Negative Marking:

There will be negative marking for a wrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer.

PSPCL Qualifying Marks:

The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for General Category candidates is 50% and for Reserve Category candidates is 40%
