In addition, officers are also eligible for accommodation (in lieu of HRA), Leave encashment & LTC, encashment in lieu of LTC, Reimbursement of Conveyance Expenses, Medical Aid, Hospitalization expenses, Retirement benefits, Loans at concessional rates as per the rules of the Bank etc. They are eligible for liberal welfare schemes & benefits.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Interview:
a) Only the short-listed candidates would be called for interview taking into consideration the various attributes like experience under relevant area, the length of experience and the relevancy of the experience to the post notified by the bank and at the discretion of the Bank.
Final selection will be on the basis of the merit ranking in the interview.

APPLICATION FEE & POSTAGE CHARGES:
SC/ST/Persons With Disabilities: Rs.50 (postal charges only)
All others (including OBC & Ex-Servicemen): Rs.300

NOTE: Candidates can apply for more than one post. They must however, register on-line for each post separately and must send the print-out of the registered application accompanied by separate fee (Demand Draft) and separate attested copies of required certificates etc in separate envelopes.
The fees should be paid by Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring " VIJAYA BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2008" Payable at MUMBAI only .
Candidate's name, post code and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft/Pay Order. The Demand draft/Pay order should not be dated before 27.11.2008 and not after 27.12.2008 (including for those applying from far flung areas), even if Bank extends the date of on-line registration by one or two days, the valid dates of Demand Drafts will not be changed.

HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates are required to apply on-line through website www.vijayabank.com . No other means /mode of applications will be accepted. (Open from 27.11.2008 to 27.12.2008)
1. Candidate should have a valid e-mail ID.
2. The candidates should have their Demand Draft READY BEFORE APPLYING ON LINE. Without DD details, data will not be registered.
3. After applying on-line, the registered candidates should obtain a system generated Print-out of the registered information, sign at the appropriate place and send along with Application fee (i.e., Demand Draft /Pay Order). Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Demand Draft and Registration Slip for future reference.
4. A recent photograph should be pasted on the Print-out
5. Candidate's name, Post and date of birth should be written on the reverse of Demand Draft /Pay Order
6. Print-out complete in all respects should be sent only by ordinary post in a closed envelope super scribed "PRINT-OUT FOR THE POST OF ______________________(Post code No._______) in Vijaya Bank", to the following address:
