UPSC CDS Exam 2012 (CDS II)

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2012 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy amd Air force Academy for the Courses commencing in July, 2013 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women) commencing in October, 2013.

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 250
Naval Academy, Goa: 40
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32
Officers Training Academy , Chennai (Men): 175
Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Women): 15
How to Apply:
Candidates are required to apply online only, by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions are available on the website.
Negative Marking:
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (negative marking) of 1/3 rd marks assigned to the question for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
Examination Details:
Admission to the to courses will be made on the results of the written examination followed by intelligence and personality test by the services selection board of candidates who qualify in the written examination.

Others: Rs. 200/-

3. Elementary Mathematics (100 Marks, 2 hours)
