Posts: 200 (SC: 29, ST: 12, OBC: 58, Gen: 101)

Age Limit:

21-30 years [Relaxation as per rules]

Pay Scale:

Rs. 11110-20910

Eligibility (as on Dec 31, 2009)

Group A (Code No. 01):

ACS / ACWA / ACA or M.com with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate from a recognised University.

Group B (Code No. 02):

Graduate in Engineering (B.E.,/B.Tech) in the discipline of Automobile Engineering from recognised University.

Group C (Code No. 03):

LLB or equivalent qualification. Minimum three years experience as a practicing lawyer is also essential (two years experience for SC/ST candidates).

Group D (Code No. 04):

Graduation with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) or Post Graduation with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate from recognised University.

Syllabus for Written Test:

A. Objective Type Tests:

(i) Reasoning

(ii) English language

(iii) General awareness

(iv) Professional knowledge - for the post in Group A to C

(v) Numerical Ability/Data interpretation Test for the post under Group-D in place of Professional Knowledge Test.

The first three tests i.e. Test of Reasoning, English Language and General Awareness will be common for all the candidates. The Test of Professional Knowledge will be specific to each of the Groups (A to C) as may be applicable.

B. Descriptive Test:

The test in English language shall be Descriptive paper comprising Essay, Precis & Comprehension etc.

On the basis of performance in written examination, candidates will be called for interview and final selection will be made on overall performance in written examination and interview.

Fee to be paid as a Crossed Bank Draft payable at Chennai drawn in favour of ‘United India Insurance Company Limited’. Candidates should write his/her name and address, Group and Code No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
