University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) has declared the admission schedule for Off-Campus Management Programmes (MBA Distance Mode). Details below:

(A) Management Programmes Offered

I. Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Seats: 500

Duration: 2 years

Admission Criteria: Entrance Test (80%) + Wok Ex (20%)

2. Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDIB)

Seats: 120

Duration: 1 year

Admission Criteria: Direct Admission on Merit

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship Management (PGDEM)

Seats: 120

Duration: 1 year

Admission Criteria: Direct Admission on Merit

Eligibility for Management Courses:

1. A Bachelor's or Master Degree in any discipline of Panjab University or a degree of any other examination recognised by Panjab University as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in aggregate

Or

Pass in final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

Or

Diploma in Marketing Management/HR/IR etc. with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate, provided the candidate holds a Bachelor's degree.

Notes:

1. Candidates appearing in the Final Degree Examination are eligible to apply and can take the test provisionally.

2. Concession of 5% marks in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST candidates.

How to Buy the Prospectus for MBA:

A. By Hand:

Gen: Rs. 650 (+ 1000 Entrance Test Fee for MBA Only)

SC/ST: Rs. 325 (+ 500 Entrance Test Fee for MBA Only)

B. By POST:

Gen: Rs. 730 (+ 1000 Entrance Test Fee for MBA Only)

SC/ST: Rs. 405 (+ 500 Entrance Test Fee for MBA Only)

C. Download from the Internet

Gen: Rs. 1650 for MBA, Rs. 650 for PG Diplomas

SC/ST: Rs. 825 for MBA, Rs. 325 for PG Diplomas

The prospectus is available for sale at the Post Office on cash payment at Chandigarh (Sector-14, Sector-17), Delhi (Gole Post Office, Cannaught Place). The above-mentioned requisition fee for MBA Entrance should be deposited through Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh only.
