UGC NET Exam will be Objective from June 2012

This is big news for UGC NET aspirants. If you have been struggling with the test because you found the subjective paper too difficult, UGC has finally made Paper II and Paper III Objective Type.
Many a times, people have good knowledge of their subject; however they find it a little difficult to express themselves in the subjective papers. Now they will have a better chance of clearing the test. What makes this announcement more appealing is the fact that there will be No Negative Marking in the paper now.
The complete details are:
New UGC NET Pattern:

UGC NET Qualifying Marks:
The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below:

Note:
The final qualifying criteria for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship shall be decided by UGC before declaration of result.
