National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala recruits Professors/Lecturers

The faculty positions are open in the following Departments

Chemistry

Physics

Mathematics

Humanities and Social Sciences

Civil

Computer Science and Engineering

Electrical

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Mechanical

Production and Transportation Engineering.

Note:

1. Professors of Central/State Government Institute who are on the verge of retirement or who have recently retired may also apply for the appointment.
2. Candidates who have submitted their thesis, or are likely to submit shortly, may also apply.
3. The retirement age of faculty members is 65 years and may be extended upto 70 years.
4. For deserving candidates, higher initial pay may be considered.
5. Central Govt. reservation policy will be followed.

Pay Scales:

Lecturer: Rs. 8000-13500/-

Assistant Professor: Rs. 12000-18300/-

Professor: Rs. 16400-22400/-

How to Apply

Rs. 300/-(Rs.150/- only in the case of SC/ST candidates on production of Caste Certificate) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of

“The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Agartala” payable at the State Bank of India, NIT Agartala Branch, Agartala - 799 055(code-11491) or any nationalized bank payable at Agartala.

The candidates are to send separate application and separate Demand Draft for each post, in case any candidate wishes to apply for more than one post.

The application with all its enclosures securely fastened to it should be sent by Registered Post super scribed and addressed as follows:

“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF (Name of the post to be specified)”
