Station Controller/ Train Operator

No of Posts: 308

Scale of Pay: Rs.6200-225-9575/- (IDA)

Qualification:

Three years Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical /Electronics /Electronics & Communication/ equivalent discipline from a Govt. recognized institute with minimum 50% marks in the concerned discipline.

Age:

18 to 28 Years (i.e. born not earlier than 2.7.1980 and not later than 1.7.1990)

Jr. Executive/ Property Development

No of Posts: 2

Scale of Pay: Rs.11000-350-15200/- (IDA)

Qualification:

Masters degree in Urban/ Regional or Town Planning with first class (minimum 60% marks) from a Govt.Recognized University/ Institute

Age:

21 to 30 Years (i.e. born not earlier than 2.7.1978 and not later than 1.7.1987

Dy. General Manager/ Legal

No of Posts: 01

Scale of Pay: Rs.12000-16500/- (CDA) / Rs.14350-17300 (IDA)

Qualification:

Govt/PSU Executives, with degree in LLB (professional) preferably first class from a Govt.recognized University/Institute with minimum 13 years service in Executive level for PSU officers and Gr ‘B’ Gazetted officers/Minimum 6 years of service for direct Gr ‘A’ officers, with at least 2 years in previous grade i.e. Sr. Scale/Manager level. Experience in dealing with legal matters, litigations, vetting of documents, legal opinion, liason etc.

45 Years

Section Officer/ Legal

Scale of Pay: Rs.8200-12325/- (IDA)

Qualification:

Govt./PSU supervisors with degree in LLB.

Candidates working in grade Rs.5500-9000 (CDA)/equivalent IDA, with minimum 5 years experience in dealing with legal matters.

Age:

45 Years

Selection process:

For the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (post code-01), the selection methodology will comprise four-stage process

• Written Test (Two Papers)
• Psycho Test
• Personal Interview followed by
• Medical examination in Aye-one category.

For the post of Jr Executive/Property Development (post code-02), the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process:

• Written Test (Two Papers)
• Personal Interview followed by
• Medical examination in appropriate category.

For the posts of Dy.General Manager/Legal and SO/Legal (post codes-03 & 04), Names of shortlisted candidates along with interview schedule, and instructions will tentatively be put on our website by first week of January 2009.

Syllabus for Written Test:

For post codes 01 & 02, the written test will consist of two papers

Paper-I and Paper-II to be held on the same day in the same centre.

Paper-I (1.5 hours):

It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions, with provision of negative marking for wrong answers, on

• General Awareness
• English
• Logical Ability
• Quantitative Aptitude and/or knowledge of the discipline/trade.

Paper-II (1.5 hours):

It will consist of subjective type questions on

• Paragraph Writing
• Comprehension
• Essay
• Questions on Science & Technology matter
