Syndicate Bank invites applications for the recruitment of 1000 Probationary Officers via Advt. No.PD/HRDD/REC/03/2010.

Probationary Officer (PO)

Posts: 1000 (Gen: 505, SC: 150, ST: 75, OBC: 270)

Pay Scale: Rs. 10000-18240

Age Limit: 21-30 years (as on June 01, 2010)

Qualification:

Graduate with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

Degree of CA/ ICWA/ CS/ PGDBM with 55% or more (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

Proficiency in Computers is essential (Candidates who have studied Computer Application as one of the subjects at Graduation/Post Graduation level are deemed to have working knowledge in Computers. For such candidates no separate computer certificate course is necessary)

Application Fee:

SC/ST/PH: Rs. 50

Others: Rs. 300

Requisite Application Fee may be paid at any of the Branches of Syndicate Bank, by means of a Payment challan as per the format given on the Bank’s website. The payment at Syndicate Bank Branches can be made free of charge.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and Interview.

1. Reasoning (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

2. Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

3. General Awareness (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

4. Test of Computer Proficiency (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

5. English Language (50 Questions, NO Marks – qualify only)

Call Letters for Syndicate Bank PO Examination

The final date will be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue for the Examination, well in advance of the date of the Written Examination.
