Details of the Syndicate Bank Jobs:

I. Probationary Officers (JMGS-I Scale)

No of Posts: 1300 (UR-657, SC-195, ST-97, OBC-351)

Scale of Pay: Rs.10000-18240/-

Age: 21-30 years.

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in aggregate (First class) and Computer Science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects at the Degree/PG level.

OR

MCA with at least 60% Marks in aggregate (First class)

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE./B. Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate (First Class) with Computer knowledge. (Note: candidates with BE/BTech in Agriculture and Bio Technology are not eligible)

OR

Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 60% marks in aggregate (First class) and Proficiency in Windows/MS Office, Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations from any recognized Institute.

II. Probationary Clerks

No of Posts: 400 (UR-231, SC-60,ST-14,OBC-95) in various states

Scale of Pay: Rs.4410-13210/-

Age: 18-28 years.

Qualification: A Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in aggregate (First Class) with Proficiency in Windows/MS Office, Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Operations from any recognized Institute.

OR

BCA with at least 60% Marks in aggregate (First Class).

OR

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in aggregate (First Class) and computer science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects.

AND

Should have studied State/Regional Language as one of the language subjects at least up to SSC/X Standard or their mother tongue should be State/Regional Language.

III. HR/IR Officers (MMGS-II Scale):

No of Posts: 55 (UR-29, SC-8, ST-4, OBC-14)

Scale of Pay: Rs.13820-19920

Age: 25-32 years

Qualification: MBA/MMS/Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University in India with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management/Human Resource & Development only with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate.

OR

Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate AND Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development.

Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in HRM/Personnel Administration/ Industrial Relations in a Public Sector Bank or any Organization/ Financial Institution/industrial concern/ HR organization. Knowledge of Labour Laws is essential. Candidates with Law Degree are preferred.

Working knowledge of computers is essential.

Probationary Clerk- Rs.150 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH)

To be paid at any branch of the Syndicate Bank in the prescribed payment vouchers. Where there is no branch of Syndicate Bank then can be send in the form of bank DD (separate for each post) in favour of "Syndicate Bank Recruitment Project -2009" payable at Udupi.

Note: A separate application form with requisite fee for each post applied for should be sent.

How to Apply:

Application should be in A4 size paper (11.69" x 8.27") and should be strictly as per the format. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application:

1) Caste/Tribe/Community/Disability/Defence Service Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC/PH/XS.

2) SSLC/X Class Certificate/Marks Card containing Date of Birth and languages studied.

3) Degree Certificate & Marks Card in the case of Probationary Clerks (Code 03).

4) Degree and/or Post Graduate Degree Marks Card in the case of Officers (Code 01 & 02)

5) Computer qualification Certificate.

6) Certificate of experience in the case Officers under Post Code No.01.
