KVS Syllabus for Principal
KVS Recruitment for both teaching jobs and non-teaching jobs is done on the basis of score obtained in a national level written exam.
The syllabus is very specific for each and every post. We will be covering the syllabus for Principal and Non-Teaching Jobs recruitment exam here:
KVS Principal Exam Syllabus
For Principal there will be two papers.
Principal - Paper I (150 Marks):
The first paper will be objective type with multiple choice answers. The paper will consist of the following topics:
- General Awareness (40 marks)
- Child Psychology (35 marks)
- Educational Methodology (35 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Data Sufficiency (40 marks)
Principal - Paper II (200 Marks):
The second paper will have three parts.
Paper II-A (50 marks, Objective): Bilingual competence
Paper II-B (50 marks, Subjective): Written communication skill
Paper II-C (100 marks, Subjective): Contemporary Social, Economic and Cultural issues / Problem on Financial Management
KVS Officer, Assistants, UDC, LDC, Steno Exam Syllabus:
The written examination will be objective type for Non-Teaching Posts.
Paper-I (General Paper, 100 Marks, 2 Hours):
This exam will contain questions based on:
- General English (20)
- General Hindi (20)
- General Knowledge (20)
- Quantitative Aptitude (20)
- Reasoning (20)
In addition to the objective paper, there will be following exams/tests for different jobs.
For Assistant – paper II:
The objective type examination will be followed by a descriptive examination of 3 hours duration. The exam will have English and Hindi languages to test the subject competency of candidates.
For Jr. Stenographer, UDC and LDC:
The candidates qualifying in the objective type examination will be required to appear for a practical test, i.e., paper-II/III/IV and II, III respectively consisting of computer operation test, typing test, shorthand test.
