Syllabus for IGNOU B. Ed. Entrance Test

The Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) Programme of IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) is meant for in service teachers. It enables in service teachers to select and organise learning experiences according to the requirement of learners. This program is recognized by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)
Eligibility for B. Ed. Admission Entrance Exam:
In-service teachers with
i) A bachelor degree or a higher degree from any recognized university.
ii) Two year full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognised by the central or a state government or a union territory. The experience certificate should be issued by the Principal, or Headmaster/Headmistress.
The requisite teaching experience of two years must be completed on or before the last date of submission of application as notified in the advertisement.
The Admission will be based on an Entrance Test. The entrance test will be held around July/August. Advertisement inviting applications for the entrance test is usually issued in April/May.
Admit Card and Hall Ticket will be provided to the candidates 15 days before the entrance test.
