SSC Recruitment 2012: Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for recruitment to the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC).

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Number of posts:

Pay Scale:

Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400

Age limit:

18-27 years as on August 01, 2012

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Number of posts:

It will be determined in due course

Pay Scale:

Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900

Age limit:

18-27 years as on August 01, 2012

Qualification:

The candidates must have passed 12^th Standard or equivalent or higher examination from a recognised Board or University.

Application Fee:

Gen: Rs. 100

SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman: Nil

Fee should be deposited in any branch of SBI by challan or by Online payment.

Pattern for SSC Data Entry Operator / Lower Division Clerk:

Time Allowed: 2 hours (2o minutes extra for Visually Handicapped Candidates)

Maximum Marks: 200

Negative Marks: 0.25 for each wrong answer

Written Test Pattern:

I. General Intelligence (50 questions, 50 marks)

II. English Language - Basic Knowledge (50 questions, 50 marks)

III. Quantitative Aptitude - Basic Arithmetic Skill (50 questions, 50 marks)

IV. General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks)
