   hi frns
   this was my first take at PO exam,i was able to answer 30-35 questions in each section except GA where i managed only 12-13 ,over all i answered abt 120 questions mostly correct.

   computer+marketing+g.k =17 rights out of 20 attempt
   D.I =15 right out of 16 attempted
   reasoning=10-12 corrects[:(][:(].......
   English=15-17 corrects out of 19-20 attempted.....

   pleazz suggest is there my chance to get a call or not.....

   Maths with only DIs was a bit surprise however questions were easy.
   GA was simple but some questions were tricky like there was a question which says What is the new name given to NREGA?...obviously correct answer would be Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act however in options Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Act was given which is not correct.I think none of these goes as the right answer for this question.Other questions that I remember are:

   hiii frds...i appeared 4 the SBI PO test....the level of the exam was very tough...DI section is quite easy but a lot of time taking process in calculations..the time management is very very difficult..where ever english is taken as a merit list soo...time is limited to qualify in every section..whwre is gk questions are lil tough..compared to computer and marketing..reasoning is some wat better,,,essays, letters and precis are of dead easy...any how the objective section is very difficult than previous papers..

    My view on SBI Asso.PO Exam on 7 march 2010:
    Reasoning was good (75%),Quantitative (Maths)was even good (70%), GK(ga,computer,marketing)was best section (85%),english level was high (55%; as it involves highest risk of answer getting wrong).

    in descriptive paper they asked to write a letter to a friend to tell about the trekking where u recently gone, a paragraph on saving trees, an essay on employment & indian economy and last was a paragraph.

    overall paper was easy.

    The question paper was easy except the quant section. It was quite lenthy and tedius.

    english section was very easy and reasoning & ga was easy.

    it is very important how you choose and attempt the questions from every section so that u can fulfill minimum passing criteria.

    minimum 25 questions must be done from every section to clear the exam as paper was easy & competition will going be tough.

    Exam was quite good and I can say that this is an green signal and trial test for the main sbi which have 4000 vacancy.
    we get idea that how we have to prepare for the exam which going to on 18 april.
    1)) Reasoning is simple but the new which I found that It cover approx 10 question from the probability .
    2)) In D.I. the initial question were quite confusing .But one thing which I observe that if you start D.I. in the reverse section that is from last Qu. the di question are quite simple

    Its not so difficult. But time taking. The DI section is well framed. Where as the computers and marketing questions are not so interesting. The descriptive paper is good except the General Essay topics. Those topics are not of thought provoking category. I think the cut off mark fro selection among General candidates will be around 120 to 130 in objective and 155 to 170 in overall exam (objective and descriptive)

    Exam was easy but lengthy.Data interpretation was easy in comparison to Quants.Reasoning section was also easy..I think english level was high.I was not able to manage time

    Hi every1...sbi associates PO exam paper in my opinion was ok...dey changed d pattern a bit lyk 2comprehensions in d english section...n significantly equal weightage was given to computer knowledge,gk n marketing compared wid marketing dominated trend in their past papers...paper was ok.nt 2tough or easy..wish u all d best
