SBI Final Result: 3500 Bank PO Recruitment

State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the result for the Bank PO exam Preliminary for which was held on October 12, 2008 & Mains on November 30, 2008. The final stage, i.e. interview, was held in February, 2009.
SBI was to recruit 3500 Probationary Officers through this exam.

Guys i think till now all r familiar with their allotted bank so first of all congrts & best wishes for all...does anyone know when we will get medical call letter or appointment letter?...i asked d bank official(sbb&j for which i m selected) but they dont know...they said it will again take 10 to 15 days...any information regarding the appointment letter or any other important thing will be most welcome & appreciated....thank u.

through a very reliable sources I have come to know that we will be getting information from SBI via mails by 2nd or 3rd june for sure and the letters will be sent to us by 12th or 13th june.I am very much confirmed about this piece of information.

Latest remark of crpd personnels is that we wud b gettng our letters by 15th of june..Any new info?? Plz share with us.I also request not to spred rumours as all of us are very much tensed.Plz keep in touch and mantain the brotherhood...After all, we are travellers of same boat.Plz also post the source of information along with comments..

sorry brother no such e mail i got from sbi....i think those who are near 2 sbi LHO or CRPD mumbai they can go personally & enquired about d their case...even if anyone is havng any relative in sbi or associate banks enquire through dat channel..i also tryng d same...& most important stay in touch u all..or we can mak a group id...thanks..
It's fine Asheesh,But the thing is that Sanjeev is saying something and not even clarifying it.Yeah now the only option remaining is a personal visit to CRPD or Mumbai LHO can provide us some relax.It's almost 60 days ,SBI main people are enjoying their training and we don't have a formal information of our joining let's say even our selection.

hey sulabh , i hav called CRPD several time and their response is not very exciting, they even dont know when the formalities will start and the most discouraging thing is that when i have inquired them why they r taking so much time then they told me that they know it is bit unusual, but they did not tell the reason
so i dear i m quite worried now as today 50 days have completed without a single piece of information, and the only option left is that some one have to make a visit to CRPD , only then we will have some information

Im quite perplexed to see everyone coming up with his/her own version of the story.I request those from Mumbai to arrange a personal visit to CRPD that is the best way the purpose can be served.And let me share with you one number of CRPD which was given to me by AGM HR of SBI LHO Kerala 022-22820547.Please try calling and ask for some concrete information.We may also contact the associate banks or SBI LHOs and let us explain our concerns to them and request them to contact CRPD for us. They will surely have official telephone numbers and email-ids to get the exact position.Those who have personal connections with SBI officials please try to get some info through them too.
Dear frnds..Crpd officials have been contradictory in their statements,now i too suspect if i hv been given authentic info regarding my selection in SBM..Their latest saying is that they would inform us on bank's wbsite in 15 to 20 days but,what they wil giv on wbsite,they did nt disclose.I hv a crpd number which alws worked but sry friends i cnt post it here bcz u all wud start pinching then all d time n they may close it too like earlier one's.But i wud stay in touch with all of u with all info that i wud hv frm there in crpd...U guys can call me to persnly on XXXX (number deleted by ADMIN) .At d end i appologize for everything that might hurt or made inconvenience to any of u.

As our friend Amrish has said that we can ask our Bank's name to CRPD, we should start asking them abt our allotment. I tried calling them but in vain. You guys also start asking the CRPD and let us know any updates,if any ;)

i had called to cent. recruitment board of sbi..they said it wud take around a month more to get the offer letter..till den v hv to wait....do tell me if u get to know sumthng...
hey I had cleared the SBI PO..... Basically the main judgement was made on the GD.... They were more interested to gauge the knowledge & presentation in GD. In fact they gave chance to everyone to speak for the topic b4 the actual discussion started.... The interview was based on your educational background, Your inputs in the form and the views you presented in the GD.
Now my main concern is it's been more than a month that the results are out. When r we going to get the offer letter and how much time will they give to us before we join them.
I have got the letter today after much waiting.... But it was better late than never......... The package is increased and its now 6.86 lacs precisely, probably due to amalgamation of associate banks....The medical is to be done within 15 days from any government hospital...

i hav cleared SBI PO nd gt selection in final result also.Topic in the Gd was ''shud govt run lotteries?'' and interview ws totally based on bio-data given by us nd related to current social trends!
SBI PO was advertised for 3500 posts. But the results published has only 2540 nos. Please comment.
becoz most of the candidates wer nt capable even for qualifying the cut off marked by SBI.it has also happend in the mains result wen there were only 6771 candidates in place of 7000 candidates! this is wht called as the level of SBI jst lik in SSB recruitments that they cannot compromise with the standards maintained by them in their employees!
