Qualification (as on March 17, 2010):
Candidates must hold a Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a University established by Law in India or a Degree of a foreign University equivalent that with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Relaxation in marks as per rules.
Candidates must possess knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script.

Age limit (as on Mar 17, 2010):
21 to 35 years [relaxation as per rules]
Remuneration:
Candidates selected will be initially engaged as "Probationer-Trainee" for a period of two (2) years and during the period of probation-training, they will be paid fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs. 10,000/- per month. After successful completion of probation-training they will be fixed in the regular pay scale of Junior Engineer-I in Running Pay Band of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3,200/- i.e. at initial Basic pay of Rs. 12,500/- & other allowances, including Generation based incentive, as per rules.

To be paid via Demand Draft favouring "Sr. AO (EA/Cash) RVUN, Jaipur", payable at 'Jaipur'.

Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Written Competitive Examination, comprising of Objective Type Questions only. The standard and syllabus of the exam will be of the level of Graduation Degree in Engineering. The medium of the written exam will be "English" only.
Duration: 3hours
Questions: 100
Passing Marks: Gen: 35%, Reserved: 25%
Final selection will be made by giving 80% weightage to the marks obtained in the Written Competitive Exam and remaining 20% weightage will be given to their performance in the Interview.
