Pay Scale:

Rs. 10300-34800 + Rs.3200 Grade Pay

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university. He should have passed Matriculation with Hindi/ Punjabi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of Computers (word processing and spread sheets).

Age limit: 18-30 years (Chandigarh)

18-37 years (Punjab)

18-40 years (Haryana)

Selection Procedure:

A. Written Test:

(1) General Knowledge (Time: 60 min, Marks: 50)

(2) English Composition (Time: 60 min, Marks: 50)

B. Computer Proficiency Test (Marks: 20)

C. Viva- Voce

Application Fee:

Gen: Rs. 500

OBC: Rs. 125

The candidates have to deposit the requisite fee by way of 'Cash Deposit Receipt', printed after completion of Step 1 of registration, in any Branch of State Bank of India only.
