Punjabi University Patiala has announced the Dates for Entrance Test for Admission to Two-year M.Ed. Course (Through Correspondence). Please find the details below.

Date of Entrance Examination: 24.08.08 (11.00 to 12.30) Sunday
Total Seats: 250

Eligibility:

1. 45% marks at Bachelor Degree/ Post-Graduate Degree level, along with

2. 50% marks in B.Ed. or its equivalent and

3. having at least two years experience as full time regular teacher, educator, researcher, policy planner, teacher and administrator located within the State of Punjab

Note: Those who have appeared for B.Ed. Examination and have not received the result, can also apply subject to the condition that they will have to produce the original Detailed Marks Card at the time of Counseling).

Prospectus:

Cost: Rs 500 (from Enquiry & information center located at Punjabi University Main Gate)

By Post: Registered post from the Department of Correspondence Courses by sending demand draft crossed as “& Co.” for Rs. 560/- in favour of Head, Department of Correspondence Courses, Punjabi University, Patiala along with self addressed envelope (12”x10” size) written there on “M.Ed. Entrance Test form (2008-10).”

Without Late Fee: 27.07.2008 (on or Before 4.00 PM)
Rs. 500/- Late Fee: 28.07.2008
Rs. 1000/- Late Fee: 04.07.2008
Rs. 1000/- Late Fee: 11.08.2008
Rs. 4000/- Late Fee: 18.08.2008

The Entrance Test form can be downloaded from the Departmental Website: www.dccpbi.com. Two separate demand draft for the cost of the prospectus (Rs. 500/-) and the Entrance Test Fee Rs. 600/- (Rs. 500/- in case of Sc/ ST/ Physically Handicapped) drawn in favour of Head, Department of Correspondence Courses, Punjabi University, Patiala, should be attached with the form downloaded form the website.
