An Engineering Degree in
a. Electrical
b. Electronics
c. Instrumentation
d. Computer
e. Mechanical Engg.
f. Technology
from University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act. Or State Act. Or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. The posts are being filled in following disciplines.
Knowledge of "Marathi" is essential.
Note: Candidates appearing in final year of Degree in Engineering in the disciplines mentioned in the advertisement, during the academic year 2008-2009, shall also eligible to apply. However if selected, they will be appointed only after confirming that, they have acquired the Degree in Engineering.

35 years (Maximum)
Age Relaxation:
i) Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the Candidates belonging to backward classes.
ii) Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for the Physically Handicapped Candidates
iii) Upper age limit is not applicable to the departmental employees working in MAHAGENCO
Selection Procedure:
There will be a written examination. The candidates will be short listed for personal interview taking into consideration their performance in the written examination.
The candidates will be short listed for Personal Interviews on the basis of performance in the Written Test. Taking into consideration the performance in the written test and Personal Interview the select list will be prepared.
Test Centers:
The written examination will be held at Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Nashik & Aurangabad.

Demand Draft favoring "Mahartashtra State Power Generation Company Limited Mumbai" drawn on any Nationalized bank payable at Mumbai shall be accepted. The Demand Draft must be purchased on after Opening of the online registration Gateway i.e. from March 05, 2009 to the close of the Online Registration Gateway i.e. March 26, 2009.
