Kurukshetra University B. Ed. (Regular) Entrance Test (Exam Date: August 18, 2008)

NOTE: The date was earlier August 17, 2008 however it was later postponed because it was clashing with the STET (State Teachers' Entrance Test) to be conducted by the Government of Haryana.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Kurukshetra University has announced the Dates for Entrance Test for Admission to 1 year regular B. Ed Course. Please find the details below.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

1. A Bachelor's degree or a higher degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks, (pass marks for SC and ST candidates, 40% for Totally Blind Candidates)

Prospectus:

Cost: Rs 1000 (General) Rs 250 (SC/BC/Blind Candidate)

Forms are available from: 8th July 2008 - 24th July 2008

Last Date of Submission: 24th July 2008

Can Be Obtained From

1. University Printing Press, Kurukshetra or All District Level Post Offices in Haryana.

2. By POST: Send a Demad Draft for Rs 1050 (General) and Rs 300 (SC/BC/Blind) to "The Manager (P&P), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra" in favour of "Registrar, Kurukshetra University" payable at Kurukshetra before 17th July, 2008.

    B.Ed. Haryana Entrance test will be held on 17th August 2008. Also the State Teachers Eligibility Test(STET)Haryana to be conducted by the Board this year for Lecturers on August 17, 2008.

    Now what to do. I think these govt. institutes are really irresposible. This is ridiculous. Now how can we forced to these institutes to change the test dates.please publish the report on net.

    I understand why you are so upset with the clash of dates for two exams.

    This situation is getting worse. It crates confusion for students as it becomes very difficult to choose one from the options.

    However we need to understand that in last couple of year the number of examination has increased at a tremendous rate. This makes it different for universities to draft a calendar.

    What we need is a national examination calendar referred by all the universities to make sure that exams don't clash.

    I hope things will improve in future.

    Why ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION for SC/BC is only passing marks. Can a person with Passing Marks
    only teach better than who got first division.

    If a person is from my SC/BC brothers/Sisters and is a millionaire/Crorepati, he/she will have to pay only 250 Rs
    and a Pandit or any a person from any religion (General category) is hand to mouth has to pay 1000/-

    Ab Mera Khyaal se time aa gaaya hai... Reservation Khatam Kar deni chayiye.. 60 saal ho gaye hain... Azadi mile...

    Jismein Talent hoga... Jo marks ke hisab se eligible hoga.. will get the admission .. will get the job.

    Please stop Reservation... Main apne sabhi Bhartiyay Bhayiyon se appeal karunga ki har jagah yeh Quota
    yeh reservation khatam karne ke liye.. ek doosray se haath mein haath milaye...

    Chalo hath badayaein... Pure Bharat mein Samanta Layein...
