Age Limit (Dec 31, 2008):
18 to 26 years (Relaxation as per rules)
Educational Qualifications (as on Dec 31, 2008):
A degree from any recognized university in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC)
Preference shall be given to candidates who are computer literates in MS DOS, MS WORD, EXCEL, NETWORKING etc.
Knowledge of English and proficiency in local language (Kannada) is essential.
Preference shall be given wherever required to those who are having professional qualification in engineering, Business Administration, Law, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Horticulture, Marketing.
Application Fee:
SC/ST: Rs. 50/-
Others: Rs. 200/-
Application fee must be paid by means of A/c Payee crossed Bank Pay Order / Bank Demand Draft issued by a scheduled Bank, payable at Dharwad, in favour of "Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank - Recruitment Project 2009". Candidates must write his/her name and address on the reverse of the Bank demand draft/ Bank pay order.
Syllabus /Pattern and Selection Procedure:
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview.
a. Written Test (60 Marks, 200 Questions, 2 hours 30 minutes):
An Objective Type written test comprising of 50 Questions Each from following topics:
01. Test of reasoning
02. Quantitative Aptitude
03. Test of general awareness
04. Test of English Language
The total marks in the written examination will be converted from 200 into out of 60.
Interview (40 Marks):
Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:4.
The candidates shall secure a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in interview.
Final selection will be on the basis of ranking accorded after adding the marks obtained in the written test and interview, subject to securing minimum marks in interview as stated above.
