JMET 2009 Application Process

Application Form can be submitted using ONLINE (Internet based) mode only.

1. ONLINE applications can be submitted only till 8th October, 2008
2. ONLINE submission of JMET 2009 application can be done by accessing the website of IIT Kanpur, http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate and following the instructions contained therein.

Before filling up on-line application form, please prepare a draft of Rs.750 (Rs.350 only for SC/ST candidates) in favour of 'Organising Chairman, JMET 2009' payable at Kanpur and one of your recent, good contrast coloured photographs.

Make sure that a good quality printer is connected to the computer from where you are submitting the Online application form.

Dispatch of Application Form

The completed and printed Online JMET 2009 Application Form and the Enclosures mentioned above must be placed inside an envelope. Do not staple the enclosures to the Application Form. Fold the Application Form only once in the middle. On the right hand top corner of the envelope please write: JMET 2009 Online Application Form & Application Number. The envelope should be either mailed, only by Speed Post, to:

NOTE: JMET 2009 is only a qualifying examination. Candidates have to apply separately to the Institutes of their choice. They are also advised to look up the details provided in the brochure about the programmes available in the participating Institutes. There is no limit to the number of programmes a candidate can apply to, so long as he or she meets the eligibility criteria.
