Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) invites applications for the following posts:

Post: Agriculture Graduate Trainees (AGT)

Qualification:

B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised University/ Institution. Candidates in the final year of their Graduation can also apply provided they have secured minimum 60% marks in pre-final year.

Age Limit:

28 years, as on May 01, 2009 [relaxation as per rules]

Knowledge of Language:

Candidate must be well versed with reading, writing and speaking a regional language (one or more than one language). Knowledge of Hindi is also desirable.

Training Period: The duration of Training will be one year.

Stipend and Pay Scale:

During training, stipend and other benefits will be paid as per Rules of the Society which is presently about Rs. 14,000/- p.m. On successful completion of one year training and subject to requirement, the AGTs will be absorbed at basic pay of Rs.6,750/- p.m. in the regular Pay Scale of Rs.6600-150-9450, with usual Allowances/ benefits.(Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 1.1.2007).

Selection Procedure:

Written Test Only short-listed candidates based on their performance in the written test will be called for Interview, for which separate intimation will be sent.
