has announced the details for admission to Two-Year Programmes Beginning July, 2009
- MBA (FULL TIME) AND
- MBA-Management of Services (Full Time)
Important Dates
Sale of Forms: October 20, 2008 to December 01, 2008
Submission of Forms: Last Date is December 01, 2008
Date of FMS MBA Entrance Exam: January 25, 2009 (Sunday) at 2 PM
Exam Pattern: Exam includes Questions based on:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Data Interpretation
- Analytical Reasoning
- Verbal Ability
- Reading Comprehension
Eligibility:
Candidates applying for admission to the two-year MBA & MBA (MS) programmes must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree after 12 years of formal schooling, with following requisite percentages.
a) Arts/Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
b) Sciences - 55%
c) Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
d) Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60%
e) OR 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's/Post-Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.
Age: at least 20 years as on 01.10.2009
How to apply:
Admission Forms along with relevant Information Bulletin will be available from the designated branches of State Bank of India from 20.10.2008 to 01.12.2008 on cash payment of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/OBC/CW/PH category) for applying to both the programmes and Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST/OBC/CW/PH category) for applying to any one programme. Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil and reserved category certificate, if any, with the application.

Those applying online need to send their applicable category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW), three copies of computer-generated Admit Card formats (with photograph, Mailing Address and Signature) and requisite Application Fee (if not paid online) to FMS before 01.12.2008.
