Delhi Police invites application for the Recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Driver)

I. Head Constable (Ministerial):

Posts: 499 (SC: 66, ST: 36, OBC: 142, Gen: 265)

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as on Jan 01, 2010)

Qualification: 12th pass or equivalent, Speed in English Typing-30 wpm, OR Speed in Hindi Typing - 25 WPM

II. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer):

Posts: 20 [English: 18 (Gen: 05, SC: 04, ST: 03, OBC: 06), Hindi: 02 (ST: 02)]

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as on Jan 01, 2010)

Qualification: Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent, Speed in English Shorthand 80 WPM, Speed in English Typing-40 wpm, OR Speed in Hindi Shorthand 80 WPM, Speed in Hindi Typing - 30 WPM

Application Fee:

SC/ST/XSM: Nil

Others: Rs. 100

To be paid in the form of Bank DD / Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of DCP / Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi.
