Open to All: 362 (UR-181, OBC-103, DC-44, ST-34)

Departmental: 241 (UR-120, OBC-69,  SC-29, ST-23)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2010

Eligibility:

(i) 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics OR

NTC in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System

(ii) Speed in English typing 30 WPM alongwith working knowledge of computers.

Written Test:

All candidates, who qualify the physical endurance & measurement tests, shall be put through a written test.

The written test will of one and half hour (1½ ) duration. The question paper shall be of objective type which shall carry 90 marks and will include questions on:

a. General Knowledge (20 marks)

b. General Science (25 marks)

c. Mathematics (25 marks)

d. Reasoning (20 marks)

The questions will be bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.
