Total Posts: 60

MALE: 30 (Gen: 11, SC: 05, OBC: 08, EXSM: 06)

FEMALE: 30(Gen: 18, SC: 04, OBC: 08)

Age (as on Jan 01, 2009):

18 to 23 years [Relaxation as per rules]

Minimum Educational Qualification:

10+2 with Science & Math (as on 1.1.2009)

(For Ex-Serviceman: 10+2 and Class-1 wireless operator from the Defence Service).

Height:

5' 7" (Male)

5' 2" (Female)

Chest (Only for Male)

33" (with expansion of one and half inch)

Note: 2" relaxation (either in Height or in Chest) to the wards (sons and daughters only) of working/ retired/ deceased (except dismissed, compulsory retired or removed from service) Chandigarh Police employees) will be available. Not more than two wards (sons and daughters) will be entitled to claim relaxation in height or chest.

It will start w.e.f. April 14, 2009 in Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh. Schedule for date and time will be available on Chandigarh Police website www.chandigarhpolice.nic in w,e.f. April 06, 2009. No separate intimation regarding PET/PMT will be sent to individual candidate.
