Note:

1. Maximum Age limit is relaxable by 2 years for candidates with Post Graduate Degree

2. Age Limit & Experience will be calculated as on January 01, 2009.

3. *The pay scales are due for revision retrospectively w.e.f 01.01.2007. In addition to pay and Industrial DA, incumbents will be eligible for other benefits such as HRA or company assisted accommodation, PF, Gratuity, Leave Travel Concession / Leave encashment, Group Insurance, Medical facilities, / Conveyance reimbursement/ Plant Performance Payment etc.

Qualification:

Full time Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/Power Engineering from a recognized Institute, with minimum 65% marks in aggregate.

Post graduate Degree in Power Engineering will be added advantage to the candidates.

A crossed demand draft for Rs.250/- for General and OBC candidates in favour of "Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Payable at Delhi should accompany the application. Mode of Selection:

The mode of selection of candidates shall be personal interview. However, if the number of eligible applications received for a particular position in excess of 1:10 to the no. of vacancies, Written Test shall be conducted only for the purposes of short listing candidates in the ratio of 1:3 for being called for interview, on the basis of their Written Test marks. In the event of receiving good response of applications the maximum no. of candidates to be called for written test will be in the ratio of 1:20 to the no. of vacancies.
