Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in BARC, Tarapur, Kalpakkam, Mumbai and Gulmarg/Srinagar and Direct Recruitment Post mentioned below.

Age limit (relaxation as per rules):

19 to 24 years for Category I

18 to 22 years for Category II (as on 01/11/2008).

Physical Standards:

Minimum Height : 160 cms

Minimum weight : 45.5 Kgs (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.)

Total Duration of Training Period:

  1. One year for Category I
  2. Two years for Category II.

Plus allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules.

Service Bond:

Bond: Selected candidates will have to execute a bond to complete the training and serve BARC or any of the constituent Units of DAE, if offered appointment after the training, for a period of 4 years after absorption. A trainee who fails to complete the training or serve the Government for 4 years if offered appointment will be liable to pay to the Government a sum equivalent to entire aggregate amount of stipend received by him during the period of training along with interest thereon.

DIRECT RECRUITMENT:

Applications are also invited for the following post in BARC, Mumbai / Tarapur / Kalpakkam/ Mumbai through direct recruitment, i.e., without training.

  1. Scientific Assistant/B (Civil) : 11 posts
  2. Sub-Officer/A : 01 post
  3. Tradesman/B : 01 post
