Eligibility (As On Feb 01, 2009):

Essential:

1. First Class Engineering Graduate / MCA / M Sc(IT).

2. CISA/CISSP/ CISM/BS7799LI Certification.

Desirable:

ISO 27001 Certification.
Hands on experience on managing Information Security System devices.
Exposure to formulate and implement Information Security Policies and Procedures.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of working experience in a Bank/ Financial/ Govt./ Large IT Institution of which minimum

3 years of experience in Information Security domain out of which 2 years as Chief Information Security Officer / Information Security Offices or at equivalent position.

Broad Skill Set Required:

Demonstrate an understanding of comprehensive security programs, including technologies and tools, architectures and network and application design and policies/business aspects of risk.
Able to assess, develop and implement information security programs including organizational design and key processes/procedures.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of information security standards: ISO27001, ITIL, NIST, SANS.
Understanding of IT specific requirements of Banking industry
