Educational Qualification (as on April 01, 2009):

1. Degree of recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate and with 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Knowledge of English and Oriya essential.

2. Candidates with professional qualification in Computer /Accounting /Management/Engineering/Business administration/Law/Agriculture/Veterinary Science/M.Sc., Computer Science/MCA/Chartered Accountant and Civil Engineering etc., will get preference over others at the time of interview.

Office Assistant –Clerical Cadre

Age (as on April 01, 2009):18 - 26 Yrs

Educational Qualification (as on April 01, 2009):

1. Graduate Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent

1. Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2+3 pattern/11+3 pattern/pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate and with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for SC /ST/OBC candidates;

1. Pass with minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/Senior School Certificate (old pattern) or equivalent and with minimum 55% marks in the aggregate for SC /ST/OBC candidates.

1. Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government is preferred.

2. Knowledge of English and Oriya is essential.

3. Preference will be given to candidates who are computer literates in MS-DOS, MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, Networking etc.

Selection Procedure

Syllabus and Pattern for Written Test:

POST CODE-1

The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test and Interview.

Objective Tests:

Duration: 150 Minutes

1. Test of Reasoning Ability (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

2. Test of English Language (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

3. Test of Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

4. Test of General Awareness (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

Note: Test of English Language :The test is only a qualifying one and carries no weightage in the total Marks.

POST CODE-2

The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test and Interview.

Objective Tests:

Duration: 150 Minutes

3. Test of Numerical Ability (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

Descriptive Test (Post 1 and 2):

Duration: 60 Minutes

It will consist of 5 compulsory questions, with internal options, to assess the candidate’s knowledge about Socio-Economic Developments and Communication skills.

Note:

1. The questions will be in English Language, but the candidates have to answer the descriptive paper in Oriya only.

2. Candidates have to pass in each of the Objective and Descriptive tests separately and there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective Tests.

3. The candidates shall be required to qualify in each objective Test separately.

4. Wrong answers in Objective Tests will attract negative marks.
