6. Marketing Associates (On Contract Basis - Junior Level): 100 posts

7. Clerks: 550 posts

Pay Scale:

Officers in JMGS-I: Rs 10000 -Rs. 18240

Officers in MMGS-II: Rs.13820 - Rs. 19920

Clerks: Rs.4410 -Rs. 13210

Marketing Associates: Rs.250000/- per annum

Probationary and Specialist Officers:

SC/ST/PWD: Rs.75

Clerk:

The fees should be paid by at the Andhra Bank branches in India and at those places where there is Andhra Bank Branches fee can be paid through Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring "ANDHRA BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2009" Payable at Mumbai only.

Selection Procedure

1. Probationary Officers: Written Test and Interview

2. Technical Officers: Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview

3. Officers -HR: Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview

4. Security Officers: Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview

5. Chartered Accountants: Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview

6. Marketing Associates: Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview

7. Clerks: Written Test + Interview

Written Test Syllabus and Pattern (Compulsory For All):

There will be an Objective Type written test

Probationary Officers and Technical Officers:

Test of General awareness

English Language

Quantitative Aptitude

Test of Reasoning

Clerks:

Test of Clerical Aptitude

English Language

Test of Numerical ability

Test of Reasoning

Negative Marks: Wrong answers given in the objective test will result in negative marks.

Descriptive Test for Probationary Officers and Clerical Cadre:

There will be of a descriptive one-hour duration.

Descriptive Test for Specialist Officers:

Descriptive Test in the area of Specialization will be of one-hour duration

Descriptive test is only of qualifying nature and the marks obtained there in shall not be reckoned for preparing the merit list.

    Can someone clarify my query regarding selection procedure for recruitment of Chartered Accountants-
    1.Does written test refer to only objective test(comprising of numerical ability,reasoning,verbal ability etc.)
    2.Or does written test refer to only descriptive test of 1 hour duration.What is the area of "specialisation" for descriptive test applicable for Chartered Accountants?
    3.Or does it refer to both objective test and descriptive test
