Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 2800)
Qualification:
(a) Graduation
(b) Must have passed Punjabi upto Matric standard
(c) at least 120 hour course with working experience in the use of PC or Information Technology in Office Productivity or DTP applications from a recognised institution OR a computer course equivalent to O level course
Age Limit (as on Jan 31, 2010):
21-35 years
Application Fee:
SC/ST: Rs. 250
Others: Rs. 500
Candidates must pay the application fee by DD/ Pay Order/ Bankers Cheque/ Postal Order in favour of Director Food and Supplies payable at Chandigarh.

Selection Procedure:
Selection will be based on written examination only. There will NOT be any interview.
The question paper will be provided in English and Punjabi. The questions will be of Matric level.
Number of Questions: 150
Total Marks: 150
1) Language Proficiency -- 25 Questions (Punjabi: 13, English: 12)
2) General Knowledge -- 25 Questions
3) Mental Ability -- 50 Questions
4) Mathematical Skills -- 50 Questions
Note: Minimum qualifying marks for candidates of all categories will be 35% of the total marks. In case some qualifying candidates obtain equal marks then for selection, preference will be given to a candidate with higher score in graduation degree.

Amritsar, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala
*A candidate can indicate two of his/her choice of centers in order of preference.

there is no cutoff .35% will be the passing Marks and Merit will decide who is going to be selected and who is not
means According to the catagory Candidate with Highest no will be selected
wht about -ve marking. if questions are not attemp then its include in -ve marking
