BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) invites Online Application for recruitment of Engineer Trainees (ET) and Supervisor Trainees (ST) as detailed below:

1. Engineer Trainee (ET - Finance)

Posts: 600 (Mechanical: 350, Electrical: 200, Electronics: 50)

Eligibility: Engineering graduates in desired and approved branches with 65% marks

Age Limit: 27 years (29 years for PG in Engineering)

Written Test: November 01, 09

2. Supervisor Trainee (ST - Finance):

Posts: 600 (Mechanical: 400, Electrical: 120, Electronics: 40, Civil: 40)

Eligibility: Diploma in Engineering in desired and approved branch with 65% marks

Age Limit: 27 years

Written Test: October 31, 2009

Selection Process:

Selection procedure will consist of Written Test and Personal Interview. The Written Test papers will be objective type in nature and will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. Thereafter, the candidates will be called for personal interview in the ratio of 1:3 to the no. of vacancies in order of merit of written test.

Syllabus for ET (Finance):

Questions: 240 on Professional ( Technical) Knowledge of the chosen Engineering Discipline and Higher Aptitude covering area like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Logical thinking, English usage, General Awareness etc.

Time Limit: 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Syllabus for ST (Finance):

Questions: 150 on Professional ( Technical) Knowledge of the chosen Engineering Discipline and Higher Aptitude covering areas like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Logical thinking, English usage, General Awareness etc.

Time Limit: 2 hours

Negative Marking:

Every question will carry 1 mark. Negative marking to the extent of 0.2 marks per wrong answer will be there.

Go to the BHEL website and apply online. After submitting the application online, download two copies of the acknowledgment slip. Keep one copy of acknowledgement slip and send Another copy of Acknowledgement Slip, duly signed with recent photograph pasted on the slip along with payment copy and certificates, send to the following address on or before September 28, 2009:
