Agriculture Officer (JMG I)

Age : 20-28 years
Qualification : Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agriculture Marketing and Co-operation OR Post-graduate in any one of the above disciplines.
Chief Security Officer (TEG VI)

Pay Scale : 26620-680/4-29340
Age : 55 years
Qualification - Should have served as Brigadier or above in the Indian Army, or at equivalent rank in the Indian Navy/Air Force.
Assistant General Manager (Treasury) (SMG V)

Qualification : MBA-Finance or equivalent from a recognised university/ institute/ CA/ ICWA/ CAIIB/ Masters degree in any discipline, 10 years experience.

Age : 40 years
Qualification : MBA-Finance or equivalent from a recognised university/ institute/ CA/ ICWA/ CAIIB, 4 years experience.
Deputy Manager (Economics) (JMG I)
No of Posts - 10
Pay Scale : 10000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240
Age : 20-28years
Qualification : Post-Graduate degree in Economics/Econometrics/ Agriculture Economics from a University recognized by Govt of India.
Important Dates:
Opening Date For Online Registration : 10.11.2008
Closing Date For Online Registration : 29.11.2008
Date Of Written Examination For Post Code 05 & 07 : 04.01.2009
Date Of Preliminary Examination For Post Code 06 : 11.01.2009
Application Fee:
(i) SC/ST/PC: Rs 50/-.
(ii) GEN/OBC: Rs 300/-.
HOW TO APPLY:
Procedure for Depositing Fee:
The application fee must be paid in cash, separately for each post if the candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, at any of the Bank's Core Banking Branches (CBBs).
Before depositing the fee, the candidate must download a copy of the payment voucher from PNB Website.
The voucher will be in duplicate. The following details must be entered into both copies of the voucher:
(i) Candidate's name,
(ii) Candidate's category,
(iii) Name and code no. of the Branch selected for payment,
(iv) Date of payment and
(v) Fee to be paid
Thereafter, the voucher is to be presented at the Branch, along with the application fee. After payment, the candidate must ensure that the transaction id generated is entered into the voucher. The candidate's copy of the voucher will then be handed over to him/her.
Payment of fee should be made on or before 29.11.2008. The date will be the same for candidates belonging to far-flung areas.
Procedure to Apply for post code No. 01, 02, 03 and 04 (Officers for Security/Treasury Departments) is as under:
The application fee must be paid in cash, as per procedure detailed above. After depositing the fee, the candidates must log on to our website www.pnbindia.com and apply online only. Transaction Id provided by the branch after payment must be quoted in the application. Take a printout of the application after submitting and the application printout alongwith the Payment voucher and duly attested copies of certificates pertaining to age, educational qualifications, and work experience be sent at the following address;

The application printout should be sent only by ordinary post and envelope should be marked
"APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________________________________________
An application printout not accompanied by requisite application fee payment voucher, duly attested copies of age/education/work experience certificate or not signed by the candidate or incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.
Procedure to Apply for post code No. 05, 06 and 07 (Dy.Manager-Economics, Management Trainee and Agriculture Officer) is as under:
Candidates should log onto our website
www.pnbindia.com
The candidates must apply online only.
No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
The transaction Id provided by the Branch after payment must be quoted in the application and the original payment voucher must be produced along with the call letter at the time of the written test.
Candidates will have to submit separate applications for each post after paying a separate fee for each post, in case they wish to apply for more than one post.
Applications, once submitted, will not be allowed to be withdrawn and the application fee/ postage, once paid, shall be neither refunded nor held in reserve for any other examination.
Application registration on our website will be open from 10.11.2008 to 29.11.2008. The last date for registering applications online is 29.11.2008.
The candidate should have a valid email id. This will enable him/her to receive call letter/ interview advice etc. by email.
Candidates should keep a printout of the completed application as well as a copy of the payment voucher, for their own record. An Information Handout will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for written test.
Syllabus for the Exam:

PNB officials said the syllabus for each post will b available along with the admit card but its strange that for the fst time a bank did not published the syllabus for any of the post advertised.
Hi! everybody. Itz true that PNB has not published any syllabus for this exam, but chances are that the syllabus will be much sort of a bank PO exam and may(85%) contain questions from managment field particularly marketing as well since they are hiring for management trainee. So lets see what is there in the exam. Hope for the best. Good Luck to all!
